The Randonneur bag might look like a traditional bag, but it is actually made from modern materials. A design which perfectly blends looks and functionality. Perfect for touring, but also for everyday use. The bag is made in the US in its entirety, in a collaboration between Velo Orange and Road Runner Bags, based in Los Angeles.
The outer material is Cordura, extremely sustainable and waterresistant. The material on the inside of the bag is made of the same material that logistic comapnies use to cover cars for transport, so it is waterproof. The interior is not too complicated, making it easy to find your belongings in the most dim lighted environments.
It is possible to fit smaller bags to the Randonneur Bag, thanks to the special straps fitted to the side. This design makes it possible to build the perfect bag just for you. We currently provide the Snapper Sack (for compact cameras and SLR-lenses) and the Cell Phone Pocket (fits basically every smartphone). Both sold seperately.
The upper part of the bag has a storage compartment for your maps, snacks, keys, wallet etc. A waterproof zipper keeps everything safe and dry, and easy access, even while riding.
The bottom side has extra straps, to attach the bag to your rear rack.
The bag can be fitted to every front rack with an appropriate decaleur (or straps for the handlebar), however it is designed to fit best with our Randonneur en Campeur front racks. The back of the bag features grommeted holes, which match perfectly to our bag mount, and make sure your bag is safely attached. When using our intergrated decaleur racks, it is not needed to punch holes in your bag.

The VO Crazy Bars are intended for touring on paved and unpaved roads, single and double track, gravel and crushed limestone, and everything in between.
The main, swept back section provides excellent control and leverage on rough and tumble surfaces, while the the bullhorn section offers an aero position for smoother roads and headwinds. The junction of the horns and sweeps feels similar to being on the hoods of drop bars and makes for a nice, neutral position.
The main bar uses a 22.2mm grip area so MTB grips, levers, and shifters fit. The "horns" are 23.8mm, so road components like bar ends and inverse levers are compatible. The stem clamp area is 31.8mm.
Crazy Bars are made from 6061 aluminum and are heat treated. Weight is a reasonable 532g. They are MTB-rated and available in sand-blasted Silver and Noir.

With comfortable fit characteristics such as shorter reach, shallow drop, and a mellow backsweep, the Nouveau Randonneur Handlebar is optimally designed for long days and nights for riders using integrated shifters and aero brake levers.
The tops are ovalized and swept back ever so slightly from the stem clamp. This makes for a bigger area upon which your hands can rest. A wider palm base means road vibrations and impacts are distributed better and not centralized into a specific spot effectively reducing hand, wrist, and elbow fatigue. Additionally, the sweep lends itself better (than a straight top) to your hands' natural resting position.
The ramps are 105mm in length (measured from the center of the bend to the edge of the ramp). This gives enough real estate for a full hand's worth of a position behind the hood for cruising, but short enough to easily reach the hood for shifting, braking, and out of the saddle efforts. Measuring traditionally (from the center of the stem clamp to the furthest edge of the brake lever hood mount) the reach is 85mm.
The 128mm worth of drop is casual and the 12 degree worth of flare makes for terrific cornering stability and prevents your forearms from hitting the bars during punchy efforts or obstacle negotiation.
